OK ok, I know I was supposed to do another catch up with you at the 6-week mark but things have been a little crazy. If you aren’t already, be sure to follow my Instagram @ellenaalice for the latest updates on what the deal is so far and my progress.
I have just one week left (play me that tiny violin) I’m so sad! It’s the final push to show off all the progress I’ve made so far with a dreaded waterdrop (it’s a technique bodybuilders use to show off their muscles, to do with flooding your system then dehydrating yourself). It’s not compulsory so don’t be put off by it but I am giving this programme 100% and thought f*ck it why not! It’s going to be brutal as one of the PTs said – “you’re going to be a moody bitch.” Bring it on though, I can handle this. My week is going to look something like this:
Drink sh*t tonnes of water and replace my carb intake with protein and fat reducing my macros to C:10% P:40% F:50% (example of my app tracker below from Monday). That lasts for 4 days. Day 5 starts the carb refeed and dropping my water intake so nothing after 3pm. I’m going to soak myself in a superhot Epsom salt bath and relax in preparation for smashing the next day’s classes, ready for my final snaps.
Ouch! It’s a killer but I’ve committed now. As well as all that I plan on going to at least a class a day upping my weights and cardio, helped by the arrival of some swish swish new machines. I’ll let you know how it all goes…#prayforme
