MYKONOS

Square

The most stunning few days were spent here in September 2017 and I created memories that will last a lifetime. The buzz of this luxury island is undeniable and believe me when I say the sunsets aren’t justified by in pictures, they honesty will be forever in my mind when I close my eyes.
Our hotel was based just outside of Mykonos Town which was perfect for strolling in after watching the sun go down.

Every night we explored the towns winding streets, stopping at tiny restaurants serving local dishes and bars with floral canopies. The place is magical both by day and night. The hustle and bustle of tourists mean streets can be full but then equally you can turn a corner and be completely alone. The maze of alleys and courtyards meant we rarely took the same streets but it was all part of the fun.

Mykonos town was our base but that didn’t stop us from wanting to explore everything else this beautiful place had to offer. At just €25 euros for a day we hired a moped and listed all the sights then set off, bonus that my phone had free roaming I don’t know how we’d have done it with just a map (first world problems).

I have put together a gallery of some of my favourite moments but if you are planning on going here I would be more than happy to share any details.
