I came across the town of Frigiliana because of a blogger on instagram. The town looked beautiful from her pictures and when she referred to it as one of her favourite places on earth I thought why not add it to our list?! It wasn’t a long stay as we knew there wasn’t that much there but it was on the way for our next stop Nerja so we popped by for an afternoon. The heat beating down was unbearable and after the extremely windy road – yes windier than the ones to Ronda – we were thankful to be in some shade. The sleepy town was all whitewashed and blue which felt so traditional. Flowers decorated the windowsills and we loved meandering through random streets which were empty of tourists. As mentioned it was only a couple of hours here so after a look round, an ice cold drink and some shopping in the quaint little shops we headed back down the mountain towards Nerja.
